For self-catering lodges, apartments and caravan holiday home. We will hold your telephone booking for three days in order for you to send us your completed booking form and booking fee and on receipt we will send you full confirmation, showing all details and final payment instruction. Payment is acceptable by cheque or credit/debit card.
For an automatic deduction of the balance of your holiday payment from you credit/debit account, please tick the box on your booking form. On bookings made less that 42 days in advance, full payment should be accompany the completed booking form.
Full payment for your holiday is due no less that 42 days in advance of you holiday start date.
Please not that we do not send reminders. If we do not receive you balance payment by the due date we shall assume the holiday is no longer required and cancel the booking. The deposit paid will not be refunded.
Cancellation insurance must be paid at the time of booking and cannot be added at a later date.
On arrival your accommodation will be available from 3pm and must be left in a clean condition by 10am on the day of departure to facilitate cleaning and inventory checks etc. Your key will be available from 3pm to 5pm at Reception or at other times by prior arrangement.
All weekly booking Saturday to Sunday. Park weeks Friday to Monday or Monday to Friday. All bookings subject to availability.
Security deposits, where applicable, payable on arrival – will be returned at the end of your stay provided the accommodation is left in a clean and tidy state, failure to do so will lead to a forfeit of your deposit.
Tenants are required to bring their own linen (sheets, pillow slips, towels etc.) except when included in package holidays.
You may bring a pet but please bring suitable bedding. Dogs must be kept under control and on a lead while on the site. All dogs must be exercised off site and should not be unattended in any accommodation at any time.
Tenants will be held responsible for, and must make good, the loss or breakage of any fixture or fittings, utensils or crockery; please report them at once.
Unless you notify us any booking not taken up by noon on the day after the scheduled day, we reserve the right to re-let. If we are unable to re-let, we regret you will be charged for the whole holiday.
If you agree to these terms and would like to book, please complete the booking form and return it to us, as soon as possible, together with your booking fee of £50 for each week or part week reserved. The booking fee (which is non-returnable) will be deducted from the overall cost of your holiday when settlement of the balance is due. Balances, including any security deposits, must be paid in full 49 days before your holiday.
Castaways Holiday Park will not be liable for any person staying at, or visiting the park, for any personal injury, fatal or non-fatal, unless caused by a negligent act or omission by the company or its employees. Nor shall the company be liable for any injury, loss or damage to any property including motor vehicles, personal affects or luggage, however caused or sustained. All price and holiday details are correct at time of going to press. In the event of exceptional circumstances, Castaways Holiday Park reserve the right to vary holiday specifications and prices without notice.
Whilst every effort is made to ensure all advertised facilities and accommodation are available during your stay it is sometimes necessary to limit or close facilities. Management reserve the right to alter booked accommodation where necessary.
Holiday Cancellation Plan
Once a reservation has been made a legal contract exists which makes you responsible for the FULL COST of your accommodation.
Our cancellation plan covers you should you have to cancel your reservation because of redundancy, death or serious injury to any member of your party. Also death, serious injury or serious illness of a close relative*
If any one of these reasons is substantiated then you will no longer be liable for the balance of hire monies due on your booking. Our charge for the Cancellation Plan is £12 for each week or part week booked and should accompany the booking fee (i.e. £50 for one week or £100 for two weeks booked)
*Close relative must mean the husband, wife, father, mother, father-in-law, mother-in-law, brother, sister, child or dependant of a person in whose name the booking was made.
SITE RULES
Accommodation
If you experience any problem with your accommodation, please report this immediately to a member of staff.
When leaving your accommodation please ensure that it is left reasonably tidy, making sure that rubbish is disposed in the bins provided at the side of the shop.
If you have used any fire fighting equipment in your accommodation please report the incident to the management.
Cars
Please adhere to the highwaycode and keep to the speed limit of 5mph on site at all times.
All cars are parked at owner risk.
When there is bad weather, cars are to be parked on tarmac where possible.
No washing cars on site.
Site
Please familiarise yourself with the Castaways Fire procedure and fire assembly points in the car park to the Jolly Roger Bar.
Ball games are not permitted on site.
Keep litter to a minimum and use bins on site.
No walking through or causing damage to flower beds and site ornamental features.
Please do not climb over fences as they are for your own safety.
Damage to site equipment must be reported immediately. Persons causing wilful damage to property will be prosecuted.
We ask that everyone respects our other residents and makes sure noise levels are at a minimum after 12.00 midnight.
No drunken or disorderly conduct is allowed on site.
Dogs
All dog are to be on leads whilst on site and under owners control.
Dogs should never be left unattended in any accommodation.
Please ensure you pick up any mess on site from your dog and use the bins provided. If bins are full, please report to a member of staff.
